In a formal ceremony held in Kigali, Nasra Salim Al Hashmi, Oman’s Ambassador to Rwanda, officially handed over her diplomatic credentials to President Paul Kagame. The event marked a significant step in Al Hashmi’s new role of fostering diplomatic relations between the two nations.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Hashmi extended warm greetings and best wishes from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, expressing optimism for Rwanda’s ongoing development and the potential for stronger bilateral ties. In response, President Kagame conveyed his own greetings and well-wishes to the Sultan, highlighting Rwanda’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Oman.
